She is a Swedish citizen. She is also is (or was) Ford Foundation Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is a writer on international affairs and has published, among others, Democracy, Ethnic Diversity and Security in Post-communist Europe.
