The NYT Reader Survey: from an IHT perspective.

Here are a few standouts for me, as a reader of the IHT and not the NYT:

1. www.iht.com is not listed as a site you might be visiting
2. they ask for your race, religion and your political affiliatons as determined by the American political landscape but do not ask for your nationality or location.
3. err... that's it.

Says a lot doesn't it?

It is of course possible that they have screened out overseas visitors from this particular survey. Also possible there is another one for them, which I will try and find.

But in the meantime, I wonder if they know they own a paper in Paris and that people outside of the U.S.A are able to be readers of www.nytimes.com
